The 2020 San Francisco Reproductive Justice Summit: Spreading the Seeds of Justice will bring together Black/African American community members and health care providers to challenge the prevalence of anti-black racism within the San Francisco health care safety-net system.

Co-sponsored by the UCSF Black Women’s Health & Livelihood Initiative, the San Francisco Department of Public Health Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Section, Anthem Blue Cross, and the UCSF Preterm Birth Initiative California, the summit will:

1. Address the inequities in reproductive health outcomes experienced by Black/African American people in San Francisco by destigmatizing STDs and promoting sexual agency;
2. Develop actionable recommendations to improve racial equity and cultural responsiveness in the provision of sexual health services at San Francisco safety-net clinics.

Your sponsorship will help fund the following:
 

• Stipends for spoken word artists to open the beginning of each half-day session
• Fees for plenary speakers and workshop presenters
• Compensation for an experienced facilitator to lead “World Café” style workgroups that will develop Summit recommendations during the second day of the event
